Day 65: Applying for Obamacare and NOT getting covered in 4 easy steps

Today, a major insurance company account executive told me that Healthcare.gov is not transmitting ANY reliable information regarding new enrollments to insurance companies regarding enrollments.

Here is the scenario playing out before our very eyes.

1)  You (somehow) make your way through http://www.healthcare.gov and select a plan with our without subsidy.  (You don’t have coverage at this point).

2)  Healthcare.gov gives them a success message like the one below which explains how the INSURANCE COMPANY needs to reach out to you directly to finalize payment for the policy.  (You STILL don’t have coverage at this point).

3).  You  wait for payment information that DOES NOT COME.  You do not have coverage until you PAY for the policy.

4).  YOU DO NOT HAVE COVERAGE
